Hevrat Shalom is a thriving congregation offering Shabbat, High Holy Day and holiday services, adult education programs, Bar and Bat Mitzvah, and support for all Life Cycle events. Through various activities we offer a unique opportunity for spiritual growth, learning and strengthening ties to the Jewish community. Our family friendly Shabbat Services are held at Ingleside at King Farm in Rockville, Maryland. The services include both Hebrew and English text and songs.
Membership dues at Hevrat Shalom are considerably lower than most other congregations.
Hevrat Shalom clergy include Rabbi Stan Levin, Rabbi Peter Novick, Rabbah Arlene Berger, Cantor Caron Dale and Cantor Joan Wolf.
